What?? A hurricane-in November?
Ugh.
This is only the 4th recorded storm in November, and
the first to ever hit the upper gulf coast.
(Since they started recording them, anyway)
Nice to be a statistic, huh?
Not so much.
At least it's supposed to fizzle and become a Tropical
Storm before it hits land. We'll likely only get alot of
wind and heavy rain.
Pray for no flooding for those directly on the coast.
(we live about 25 miles inland so our threat isn't
nearly as bad as theirs.)
Pray for no tornados-a serious threat with these
kinds of systems.
The kids are excited, though, because school is letting out
at 1:30 today, will certainly be closed tomorrow, and they
already had Wednesday off for Veteran's Day.
This is the predicted path.

Stay safe! I'm sure the grocery stores are a madhouse with everyone trying to prepare. Buy water if you can- our grocery store shelves are usually empty when I go to buy it.
TROPICAL STORM PARTYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol! Isaac is going to Walmart this afternoon to get some things and batteries. I am hoping that he doesn't have to go to work in the morning. I am not a big fan of bad weather, so i am hoping it will blow by fast. We are going to have a sleep over in our bedroom tonight with the kids.
Oh MY! I did not know that you were so close to the gulf. I will be praying that you all stay safe and no flooding!! :) I agree, "Ida, go away!"

I'm guessing that school is going to be cancelled tomorrow too...and I'm wondering what we are going to do stuck in the house for the next two days while it rains!! Hopefully it won't be more than just a little wind and rain!
