Tuesday tidbits

Just wanted to remind everyone that my
Father's Day giveaway
ends Wednesday night at midnight!
If you haven't entered yet, just
click here.
I'm so excited about it!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I would like to ask all of you to pray for
my grandmother. Memaw is 82, and has
always been more active and on the go
than most people half her age!
I am particularly close to my Memaw.
If it were not for her, my life would likely
be very different, but that's another story
for another post.
We go visit her every Sunday, and when we were there-
not this past Sunday but the one before-she
was squatted down talking with Emmie and
when she stood up, she got dizzy. After
leaning against the fridge a minute to catch
her balance, her face went blank, and she began to
fall because she passed out.
Thank God Paul was standing close enough to catch
her before she hit the floor! My mom and
my uncles insisted that she go to the hospital
and get checked out. They discovered she
is severely anemic, apparently not because
her iron is low, but because she is losing blood.
They cannot find a bleed anywhere.
She has an appointment with a neurologist
in the morning. Pray for good results, but
also, please pray that they will find where
the bleed is so they can fix it!
I haven't posted anyNoah speak in a while, so
I thought I'd bring you up to speed on his new
'fun phrases.'
When I put him in his bed at night, he always says,
'Lay a me, Momma!'
or
'Lay a my bed, Momma!'
and anytime he's hurt and crying,
when you ask him what's the matter,
or what hurts, he'll wail,
'IDONKNOW!'
all running together-it's so cute!
When he gets in trouble, especially if he
gets a spanking, he throws his arms around
mine or Paul's neck and cries,
'I wuv you, Momma!! (or Daddy!)'
Heartbreaking!!
And the silliest thing ever,
'Momma?'
'Hmm?'
'Momma?'
'Yes, Noah?'
'Momma?'
'What, Noah??'
'Uh...ne'ermine!' (nevermind)
We do this approximately 148 times a day.
I adore that little boy!
I almost forgot to mention that I had to
block a new follower last night! I would
have felt bad about it, but the guy had links
to India adult films...I appreciate the follow,
but this is a Christian, family oriented blog.
No adult only material, please!!
What a mishmosh post! Hope it made
sense. Goodnight everyone!
I hope your grandma gets good results today...I will say a prayer for her! The stuff kids say is so funny...I remember doing the last one over and over again when Henry was little except I think he would say "I forgot" instead of nevermind! I would have blocked that new follower too!
I will pray for your grandmother for sure
Noah's words and sentences are priceless. Isn't is cool you are writing them down here on your blog. You got that taken care of now. I always forget to get that kind of stuff written down and then I forget what they said exactly.
I love to remember all the funny little things my kids say. Their own special twists on things. Noah's are precious!
