Not Me Monday!

Welcome to Not Me Monday!
Created by MckMama as a way for us perfect
moms to share our perfect lives and get in some
much needed therapy in the process!
Click on over and see what she and all the other
moms have not been doing this week!

I have not been in a total funk all week. I am not moody,
weepy, or exhausted for some reason. I do not wish I could
figure out why, as no one in my house, including me, likes me
very much at the moment.

We did not finally put Emmie in a pack and play in our closet
last night. This was not a last ditch attempt to get her to
sleep better-or for Paul and I to be able to sleep in our own
bed again! We have not both been sleeping elsewhere-separately-
for much longer than I care to admit! She did not sleep through the
night, and I did not wake up with my breasts painfully tight
because she hadn't eaten since 8pm last night!!

I was not doing really well at Curves, that is, until the weekend.
Cause, you know, they're closed on weekends.
I did not totally do wonderfully last week with my eating
only to seriously blow it over the weekend. I was not thrilled,
however, when I got on the scale at Curves this morning to
discover that I had not gained any weight on my binge!!
This morning's workout did not almost kill me.

Noah is not finally showing some interest in potty training!
I am not somewhat leery of his interest. He doesn't want to
stay on the potty for extended periods of time, even AFTER
he uses the bathroom! I have not sat in the bathroom with
him for almost 30 minutes with him saying,
'I dotta dough some more, Momma. I not finish!'
At least he's trying. I guess.

That's all I've got energy for this morning. I hope everyone
had a great weekend!!

Awwwwwwwwwww, I'm sorry you're in a funk. I hope you snap out of it soon. Want me to hop in my private jet and come whisk you away for some fun in the sun with me????? Just forget about Curves and we'll go play at the beach or something?

Too bad I don't have a jet --- cuz if I did, that'd mean I was rich and really could do that! But dang it, I'm not rich and can't. =0(

It's the worst when you can't even stand being around yourself because of your lousy mood. I hate when I'm like that!

Yea for no weight gain, sleeping through the night, and potty training!

Funks stink!
I hope it goes away soon!

I would be in a funk, too, if I gave up good food and actually worked out daily! At least you went today! I came up with another excuse not to go.

And Noah on the potty....hilarious. My son did that, too....but he had to have a book (or 10) like his dad.

I hope that you can break out of the funk soon. I have so been there more times than i care to admit.
I remember the painful feeling when the kids would sleep through the night. You are glad for the rest but can't wait to feed them. lOL

I have been in a funk too lately and I don't know what it is except just stress! I'm glad you are liking Curves...I so need to do something too! Yay for Noah potty training, though I'm sure it's not fun to sit there forever with him!

Love your "Not Me" posts. They always make me laugh. I could just picture Noah saying that in my mind. I am sorry you have been feeling bummed lately. I am sure it won't last long. Look to Jesus! He is your answer! Hope you have a great week.

Aaaah, hormones. So much fun! Don't you wish you could share them?

Yay for a good night's sleep, wooohoo!

I had my hubby read my post and I was asking him "Do you think it's o.k. if I say the word 'uterus' on my blog?" Clearly he thought it was fine as I posted it, lol!

Yes they are! I still remember some of the funny things my kid said when they were little (in front of people of course, lol!).

What a great post. Mothering is a tough gig and definitely not for sissies! Sorry for your funk. I hope it passes quickly. There is probably a direct collation between the funk and the babies! Thanks for sharing.

Both my boys are grown and have little boys of their own! How fun is that. I blog to encourage MOMS in the fine art of Christian mothering. Mothering is an awesome and aggravating holy occupation.

I have just added my PODCASTS for my series on Philippians called Joy in the Journey.Check it out if you could use some huge doses of encouragement and personal illustrations along with some great Biblical truth.

On Sept. 17 I will be starting a new series on Ephesians called "High Stepping in High Places." We have live video feed and an archived file for the message as long as the PODCASTS.

We would love the chance to bless you as your raise your flock for the Lord. Check us out at www.jeanstockdale.com or http://jeanstockdale.typepad.com. Blessings.
